How to Get to Islands

About the islands

If you visit Takamatsu as a tourist, everybody will recommend you to go to one, or many, of the beautiful islands around Takamatsu. Seto Inland Sea is a sea surrounded by the main island of Japan, Shikoku and Kyūshū. This region is called “Land of the nice weather”, due to the moderate climate and low rainfall. In addition to the atmosphere on these islands it is much more peaceful than in the crowded cities, which is why also local Japanese people choose them for their weekend trips, especially during summer.
